Right now I am on 1 Nephi 1:8 in my Japanese book of Mormon, it's kinda going slow cause I had to relearn the alphabet and what not, but im getting better day by day.

so I was way sad to leave Sullivan, it was probably my Favorite area so far, cause the branch members where so awesome and it reminded me of how our old ward use to be before it split, so it brought back some good memories, if I was to visit Missouri some time in the future i would totally come back to Sullivan first.

 so my new area is good, besides the whole biking part :/ on Wednesday when we got here we where biking back from visiting potentials and it started to pour rain, so by the time we got back to our apartment we where totally soaked.

 so I am no longer a district leader any more, so I am now a jr companion, but that doesn't mean any thing to me, we still share the responsibly of the area and the work.

"...Conference..."

Conference was good, but there was some sad news, a sister in the branch passed away in her sleep on Friday night, its been hard on the family because they where not expecting it, so that was sad, she was 65. All of the talks where good, I liked packers talk and I liked his testimony I could feel the spirit strong as he did so, and i felt like this is the last time that we will see him,

Got transfer calls on Saturday, I'm going to be leaving to St. Peters, it's a biking area, yay :/ it has a lot of hills is what I'm told.
  so the guy who knows Siufanua knows the family from the islands, I forget which one but he might be moving to payson to work security for the temple.
 well i have allot to get done today so ill email you next monday.

"...talked about the Book of Mormon..."

so this week was pretty good we found 4 new investigators, Michael age mid 20s and Nadia age 11, we found them through tracting and taught them the first lesson on the spot, so that was pretty cool, and we will hopefully be seeing them tomorrow or Thursday.
 and the other 2 are Charles age 70 ish and Pearl also 70ish, we found them while tracting in bourbon, he just got done with chemo therapy so he is pretty weak, and they have lived in bourbon for 53 years. we talked about the Book of Mormon and they where open with us coming back to teach them, so that should go well. and we also set a baptism date with Donna for the 27 of April, she is some one who the missionaries have been working with for 2 years and know she wants to be baptized, she really loves how the church is like big family.
 so we are stocked for that.
 so that was the highlights of my week.

"...we found 4 new investigators..."

 so I'm glad that Megan's b-day party went well, it sounds like she really had a good birthday, i sent her a letter with a card and some paper cranes on a string, I told her not to open it until her real birthday, do you know if she opened it, and if so that's ok.
 so this week was pretty good we found 4 new investigators, James, he is some one that we tracted into and came back and taught him the first lesson, it went well we cleared up some misconception about the book of Mormon.
 then there is Ashley and Daniel, they are friends of one of our members, we taught them the 1st lesson, it went well they had allot of good questions. Ashley is a former investigator from two years ago, she stop taking the lesson cause during the plan of salvation one of the members opened his mouth and gave allot of info about the plan of salvation and she didn't understand it so it scared her off, so she is warming back up to us.
 and the other is jasmine she was a referral who the branch president referred, she needed some help with some food so the branch president gave her a bishop store house order, that happens allot out here, cause allot of people don't have jobs, so allot of the churches out here help people.
 but with all things there most be equal opposition, unfortunately, carol, the one who lives on Roscoe street dropped us :( she doesn't want us to come over cause she doesn't want her grand kids getting confused about different doctrine.
 so that was my week, i think it went pretty well despite the bad things that happened.

"...this week was okay..."

So this week was ok we didn't find any new but we where able to get back in contact with a former investigator that fell off from the face of the planet right after i got here, so that was good we will be meeting up with her sometime this week and probably setting a baptism date with her since she has been taught all the lessons, so we will have to do a review with her before she gets baptized.
 we also had zone p-day and we got permission to watch "a work and a Glory" and that was nice to be able to see that again, i forgot how good of a movie it was, either that or its probably because i haven't seen  a movie for the last 9 months so i think every thing is good. and we had zone conference the following day and James Miner came and did a music and the spoken word type of thing, he had a couple missionaries come up and play the piano and sing and play different type of instruments, there are allot of gifted people in our mission.
 our branch also had a chili cook off and a bake off, and us and the st clair elders where the judges, i was so full after that, we had to eat every chili and every dessert, but im still around 145 so i haven't really gained any weight out here since i left, which i don't mind.
 so that was my week.

Hey family, so this week was kinda slower but it was still good.
We where finally able to meet with the people on Roscoe street, but the grandmother was the only one there at the time. we taught her the 1st lesson, she seemed pretty open to all of it, so we gave her a Book of Mormon and "The Restoration Pamphlet."
And we where able to set a baptismal date for Kim Eye, that's going to be on the 30th of this month, the only problem that she has is quit smoking, but she was the one who brought up baptism, so that was pretty exciting, and we are going to try to set a date with her kids hopefully this week.

Investigators and stake conference

so this week was pretty good we had 3 investigators come to the stake conference yesterday, its a family, Kim is the mother and Hunter is her son he is 9 and her daughter Matty is 12 and kim, what it sounds like, wants to get baptized, we would have invited her and set up a baptismal  date but hunter got distracted so we where not  able to redirect the conversation towards baptism but we are meeting with them on Wednesday cause her kids will be coming to ym and yw so that is pretty awesome. we haven't been able to get in contact with the Roscoe street family so thats a bummer, but we found a new investigator!! he is a messianic Jew( a Jew that believes  in Christ) so we got him to commit to reading the Book of Mormon, and he wants to come to church next week so that should be great. so this week was pretty awesome.
 and the st Clair elders that are right by us in our district, who white washed found 7 new investigators, and some of the m are a part member family.

 well i have to go we are going to be going on a bike ride today with brother kofoed, him and his family are one of the coolest families in the branch. ill have to send a picture of them someday.
